Lidia Patricia García Rojas

Patricia was born in Tenerife where she started her academic training at 7 years old. She moved to Zaragoza continuing her studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Aragón with Nicolas Chumachenco, among others. After obtaining her bachelor in violin, she atended the academia de estudios orquestales from the Orquesta Filarmonica de Galicia in Santiago de Compostela, under the tutelage of Grigori Nedobora and James Dahlgren. In 2012, she graduated in Musicology in Universidad de la Rioja. Recently, in 2018, she finalizes her studies of viola with David Fons in Valencia.

Patricia Garcia has dedicated himself with great affection and curiosity to the studies of informed historical early music, moving to Toulouse where he specializes in baroque and classical violin with Gilles Colliard obtaining the qualification of "Magna Cum Laude" by the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Règional de Toulouse. He continued his studies of baroque violin and viola with Manfredo Kraemer and Emilio Moreno graduating in the Master in Interpretation of Early Music of the ESMUC. He has shared stages with musicians such as Amandine Beyer, Manfredo Kraemer, Alfredo Bernardini, Enrico Onofri, Hiro Kurosaki, Lorenzo Coppola, Jean Pierre Caniac, ... She is a member of the Baroque orchestra of Barcelona and the Baroque orchestra of Salamanca, collaborating with other groups such as , La Dispersione, Harmonía del Parnás, Les Saqueboutier, baroque orchestra of Granada, among others. Patricia has performed at festivals like Úbeda and Baeza, Camino de Santiago, Terrassa Early Music Festival, Murcia Festival, etc.

At the present, she deepens in the interpretation of medieval music, receiving in 2017 a residence scholarship from the University of Montpellier. In this field she regularly performs as a vielist with the Ensembles Magister Petrus and Ars Memorae.

She is founder of the historical music ensemble "La Dirindina", acting as musical director and production manager.
